  • I don't give it 5 stars because the enemy of good is the best! In the 3 months that I have had it, it has been very decent and comes with good accompanying software. TOSHIBA(OCZ) = guarantee!

It is an economical entry-level SSD. If you want to install it in an old mediocre laptop, it will boost its performance. If you have a decent machine and work with heavy programs, you will notice a big difference compared to others. I had the 250 Samsung Evo in the same laptop with an i5 (1st gen) and decided to switch to Toshiba for capacity (and price) reasons. The Samsung was much faster. It's not a bad disk, but I miss that extra performance of the Samsung (of course, much more expensive)

  • After three weeks of having it, I told him to do an evaluation that is addressed to laptop owners. I put the ssd in a laptop whose previous disk (hdd) failed. It really worths making this purchase whether your disk has failed or not. The laptop simply flies. From fast loadings to (very minimal) improvement in gaming. As for the reliability issues that I see many people mentioning, I have to say this. My ssd has only had 2 glitches while I was playing games. It has shown no signs of unreliability in browsers.

It is not the fastest SSD, but it is not bad. It works fine for use in a laptop where you do your work. In an older system that I tested it on, there were some speed drops, but that was expected
