The "Walks of Athens" is a personal journey in the so-called historical center of the city of Athens, in places where monuments from all periods of the city's history coexist, from antiquity to the present day.

I started writing the poems in 1995, finishing them in the autumn of 2001. The composer Christos Nikolopulos set ten of the poems to music - along with six others of similar content that I had given him - in a song cycle of the same title, in the spring of 2001, which circulated on CD in December 2002.

The poems in the original Greek are rhymed, but according to the decision of the author and the translator, the rhyme has not been preserved in Spanish.
