Aris Georgiou photographed humans in various places around the planet, with anthropological curiosity. He formed an ark of human forms, which in a century will be an invaluable record of the peculiar creatures that walk the streets of cities daily and are called homo sapiens. As he writes: "I have never stopped being amazed by the diversity of human appearances. I remember as a child being curious about them, often while on the bus. The passengers, the conductor, the driver. The same in my kindergarten class, later in school, whether they were my classmates, teachers, inspectors, or school doctors. The parents of friends, my aunts, random passersby on the street [...] all together formed an endless spectacle."
Sakis Serafas wrote short stories about these humans. At the same time, he confronts their images with quotes from poets, novelists, philosophers: Tiger leggings and Schopenhauer. Suspender and Beckett. Rappers and Stesichorus. Lolita and Benjamin. Kinder-people with Nikos Karouzos. Shake dancers with Goethe and Hugo...
This is a unique book in which the reader, by choosing their favorite quote, is invited to participate in a quiz-game that will reveal what kind of reader and what kind of person they are.
