The ssd is good but the 980 pro is 30 euros cheaper and has double the performance. If you don't believe me, look it up, the 980 pro is much faster and cheaper. If you wanted to get this one, don't get it, get the 980 pro. I hope I helped

    I installed it (970 Pro 1tb) on an Asus ROG Strix Scar III laptop with i7 9750h & 32gb DDR4, replacing a WD SN520 256GB.
During boot-up, I can't say that I noticed any significant difference... It definitely opens faster, but at these speeds, the differences are not noticeable during startup. Where it's like day and night is during file copying and opening heavy applications. There is a truly noticeable difference. Samsung Data Migration didn't help me much with cloning, so I switched back to the classic Macrium Reflect and saw a significant improvement. Magician is a great program and you can upgrade and see a lot of information about your disk.
I don't know what differences there are in the Korean and Chinese versions. I have the Chinese version, and Magician recognizes it correctly and the speeds are as advertised.

I plugged it into the msi mpg z390 carbon ac, with an i7 9700k CPU and Corsair 2x8 GB DDR4 4000mhz RAM. The motherboard supports boost for CPU, RAM, and m.2.

I enabled raid mode on the 970 pro through the BIOS, and through the Samsung application, I was able to enable raid for another SSD (I did it for the 860 evo).

After installing Windows 10 on the 970 pro, the system is lightning fast! My PC opens in 17 seconds and shuts down in 4! Any application I open responds immediately without any delay. The speed is truly impressive.

Now there is only one small issue with the Samsung application, it seems to not be able to recognize the 970 pro. It recognized all the others I have (2x 860 evo 1TB) immediately, updated their firmware without any problems, shows their temperature, etc...

In the product you will find photographed on the Samsung US website, it is stated as "Product of Korea". Communication with Samsung is done through written messages, where a relatively immediate response is given. When I asked if I could find the displayed product, I did not receive any answer. As you understood, the 970 Pro that is being sold is a "Product of China", as it is also indicated in the exact position of the "Product of Korea" in the photo. I ordered it through Skroutz. It arrived quickly. I paid around €350, including shipping and cash on delivery costs. It was installed on a laptop quickly and easily. The kids installed Windows on it and formatted the old SSD (Toshiba, 240G). I have been using it for about two weeks. It is slightly faster than the old SSD. They say it runs at very low temperatures. Mine reaches an average of 41 degrees Celsius. It has reached up to 46. That's it.
