This book presents the lengthy conversation that the author Dimitris Dimitriadis had with journalist Giorgos Kalientzidis, which was broadcast on the radio frequency 9.58 FM during the summer months of 2000, between May and September.
Whatever is said in this conversation, Dimitris Dimitriadis reminds us in his concluding note, whether important or insignificant, interesting or indifferent, acceptable or unacceptable, comes from a disposition that was not determined to succumb to any concealment and to any distortion of the speaker's deeper beliefs, a disposition that was sustained from beginning to end by his interlocutor, whose stance allowed this discussion to contain what makes such a discussion worthwhile, the element of eliciting materials that belong to obscure and largely inaccessible areas of the guest's intellectual personality.
The book is published with an accompanying standalone booklet that contains the author's text "We and the Greeks," which was read in January 2000 at the French Institute of Athens and first published in the newspaper TA NEA on 20.5.2000.
