The tools of the modern teacher transform them into a Jedi with a lightsaber. Technology and education, technology and society are inextricably linked. The school and the classroom, teachers and students are living organisms, and the educational process is evolving, whether we like it or not. This significant change is happening whether we want it or not.

However, I believe that the primary teaching tool remains the ...chalk and the teacher's discourse. Alongside these tools, the importance of one skill is unwavering: transmissibility, as it serves as the vehicle through which we convey what we aim to teach. From chalk and blackboards, we have long transitioned to digital technology, digital visual aids, and the internet. These "media" constitute technological contributions to the educational process.

This collective volume includes eleven texts that contribute to the common theme "ICT and Education." Most present: a. learning theories that are developed based on applications, pedagogical approaches, and b. technological applications that are utilized in the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in teaching practice and the learning process.
