The brilliant proof of the fragility of global power would not have been the same. The towers, which were emblematic of that power, embody it even in their dramatic end, which resembles suicide.
Seeing them collapse, like from within, we had the impression that they were committing suicide in response to the suicide of the kamikaze airplanes.
