[...] In our present work, based on the dialogue between the two great speakers of that era, Proclus and Nestorius, we will attempt to see the broader opening of a christological conflict, which necessarily needs to solve problems of paternity in christological terminology, but also to contribute to the interpretive clarification of this terminology. This clarification is missing in the research known until today and needs to be done in relation to necessary textual chronologies and examination of doctrinal terminology and paternity (of this terminology). Our effort is an attempt to connect historical and doctrinal methodology with systematic work, as well as narrow research perspective with the broader one. The center of each research point is the examination and critical evaluation of opinions expressed to date by foreign researchers, with the aim of contributing to the highlighting of the theological contribution of Patriarch Proclus. This means highlighting the correct understanding and projection of his christological terminology, technical or not, to which no particular importance has been given until today. As already understood, our emphasis is on the work of Proclus and with his christology as the center, we expand our research to Nestorius and Theodore of Cyrus.[...]
