The present work "Computer Science and Labor Law" is a summary of the presentations and interventions from the 16th Panhellenic Conference of the Society of Labor Law and Social Security, which took place in Tripoli on October 7, 2017.

This conference featured prominent legal experts who shared their scientific views on how and to what extent labor relations have been affected and continue to be influenced by the development of technology and computer science, providing an opportunity for a fruitful dialogue and the drawing of constructive conclusions. Specifically, critical and interesting issues were examined regarding the relationship between computer science and labor law, teleworking, issues regarding the protection of crowdworkers in the provision of digital labor, working time in the digital age, electronic employment of employees outside working hours, risks to the health and safety of workers from the use of computer systems, health and safety in the digital era, the regulations of the General Data Protection Regulation concerning labor relations, employer access and control over employees' computers, employer surveillance using electronic technical means, social media in the employment relationship, electronic governance of social security, the implications of developments in the ICT sector on labor markets, and the relationship between robotics and law.

At the end of the event, the title of Honorary Member of the Society of Labor Law and Social Security was awarded to Professor Emeritus of Labor Law at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Mr. I. Koukiaidis, by the President of the Society, Professor of Labor Law at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Mr. K. Papadimitriou.
