The Neo-Chalcedonian Fathers certainly did not want, from a wealth of experience, to reduce the description of life in Christ to a verbal philosophical engagement. This danger, present in our days as well, distorts the historical and doctrinal data and puts sincere and valid theological dialogue in jeopardy.
