You get M.2. The difference with other storage media is huge. Now, I would say that the difference between M.2 drives is insignificant. It also depends on what you are doing and why you want the speeds. But paying extra money for the name of a company or a speed that you won't even notice, I don't think it's worth it. For example, if a game opens in 5 minutes and with M.2 in 5 seconds (for instance), it will make a difference and it is substantial. But from 20 seconds to 18 seconds, it's not a difference worth paying for.

For the money, he is very good.
I wanted him just to play games and the games load very quickly (specifically Forza Horizon 5). On the regular HDD, I had a loading screen for about half a minute.
With the M.2, it's not even 5 seconds.

Economical and reliable! I have him for games, which means he constantly copies and deletes files! He has had no reliability issues so far and without any glitches on him!

Kids are pretty good, but I believe it would be better to get a 250gb one at half the price and a 1tb HDD [wd] for 30 euros and you're set!

Very good SSD, it reaches approximately the speeds it claims, but it is significantly faster than the 850evo I had

Instead of a regular SATA3 disk, it is the best option, it was installed in a gaming PC, it doesn't need PCI for games but at this price, why not.
