Foreword: Ilias Bazinas & Note: Babis Drosos
How did the Hungarian teacher who revitalized the Legend arrive and why did he leave? The figures and events that shaped the modern history of Olympiacos, during a dark era that has indelibly marked our country.
The great Hungarian coach arrived at Olympiacos in the summer of 1965 and left in December 1967. In this short period, he managed to reshape Olympiacos and become one of its greatest modern Legends. Thanasis Skroubelos dissects the socially and politically turbulent era (July events, Coup) in which he shone… The team of Bukovi.
At the same time, beyond convenient myths and conjectures, it reveals how and why Bukovi truly came and left the country and Olympiacos. The book includes a complete timeline of Olympiacos matches led by Bukovi as well as rich photographic material.
