Description

Few can disagree that a calm, rational analysis of Turkey's foreign policy, free from stereotypical exaggerations and romanticizations, should be one of the main objectives of all analysts of International Relations in Greece for many important reasons.

However, the most significant reason is that a better understanding of a difficult and undoubtedly problematic neighbor will help us maintain peace, stability, and security in the southeastern European region.

To achieve this, scientific research must not be influenced by actions and aims at the level of policy production. Scientific research must remain faithful to its central objective, which is none other than the neutral observational assessment of the phenomenon under examination, producing a methodologically sound conclusion that will allow for a better, deeper, and higher quality understanding of the key issue that this collective volume addresses.
