The evaluation of programs and personnel in education is an important issue that has been addressed for many years by academics and researchers who shape educational policy and conduct educational research in Cyprus and Greece.

The two volumes prepared by collaborators from the Open University of Cyprus fill some essential gaps in the Greek literature on these topics and complement each other. At the same time, however, they can also be utilized as two independent texts.

The first volume, titled "Evaluation of Educational Programs," consists of 11 chapters that present and analyze all the topics related to the evaluation of educational programs in general.

The second volume, titled "Evaluation of Educational Work and Educators," comprises 10 chapters that present and analyze all the issues related to the evaluation of educators and their work.

These books are aimed at and will be very useful for educators at all levels (from kindergarten to university), as well as for school counselors, mentors, evaluators, assistant principals, and heads of school units, university academics, researchers, and officials from the Ministries of Education in both Cyprus and Greece.
