Description

At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the Austrian Sigmund Freud, a physiologist and psychiatrist, laid the foundations of psychoanalysis as a therapeutic method with his studies and revolutionized the way modern man perceives concepts such as consciousness and sexuality.

Human behavior is driven by instincts and impulses, which are neurological representations of the natural needs of humans. In "Impulses and The Fate of Impulses," light is shed on the nature of impulses (sexual or not) as well as the fates that these impulses can experience.

Freud studies the sources of impulses and dares to analyze the dichotomies: sadism - masochism, voyeurism - exhibitionism.
