In the need to provide answers to questions arising from the detailed study of the sacred text of the New Testament, the present book seeks to respond.

This is a collection of sixteen articles - studies, which were published, with minor differences from their current form, in the magazine "Anaplasis" between the years 1997 and 2000 in a column under the general title "Interpretative Approaches: Answers to Questions from the New Testament".

The questions that give rise to these articles are varied. Some pertain to detailed interpretative problems of specific passages from the New Testament, while others address broader topics related not only to the New Testament but also to the Old Testament.

The answers to these questions take into account the most significant interpretations of the Fathers and contemporary interpreters, the linguistic and historical data of the text under examination, and its comparison with parallels from both the Old and New Testament.
