Used on a PS3 and works perfectly, I don't take full advantage of it due to the age of the console but it's a great budget SSD.

Very good, but not excellent. The usable GB are ~954 in NTFS. It delivers ~458 Mb/s in reading and ~412 Mb/s in writing in an updated Windows 10 environment. I would buy it again at the price I bought it (~55€) but for more money I would probably prefer another one.

For now I am absolutely satisfied, it revived a 19-year-old computer consisting of GA-X38DQ6, with INTEL Q6600, 8GB DDR2 RAM and MSI GT-520.

Plugged in as the main drive in a laptop for three months now. It operates daily without any issues whatsoever.

I gave it to a friend of mine whose motherboard didn't have an M.2 SSD slot, and it's very good for the money; it was purchased for €55. For me, it's the most worth it for the price if you want an external SSD

The disk was installed in an old 2017 Dell Inspiron laptop. After a fresh installation of Windows, the machine was transformed.

Excellent SSD. I have it as my main disk for Windows. It is 2023 and since 2018 that I have been using it, it has NEVER had any problems. Extremely fast in booting Windows and games. Worth 100%!
P.S. Prefer a larger capacity one because I made the mistake of getting the 120 GB one and had to buy a second SSD for large games.

It is an SSD (like we say 10 times faster). With 24 hours of operation, it dropped to 99%. The Kingston I had before dropped in performance much later by 1%. If I remember correctly, at 500 hours of operation. So far, my best one turned out to be the Crucial SSD 500GB. Maybe the larger ones in GB are more reliable. The old slow HDD disks lasted for years. NEVER BACKUP ON SSD. Very short lifespan

A purchase was made on 17/8/2021. On the same day, it was installed and it was great, it gave my 8-year-old laptop a new life. With the HDD, it took 15 MINUTES to open!!!, with this specific SSD, it takes about 15 seconds!!! BUT it only lasted for 24 hours and then it broke, presenting a malfunction in such a short period of time. It didn't even last 6 months! Today (20/8/2021) I received a new one as a replacement, we'll see how long this one will last, hopefully longer!

Nice if you want a fast and quick bout drive or to install a game on it, it's pretty good but because it's dram-less, this means that after a while it will start to become slower.

I recommend it but if you can spend a little more money, get a better one

I had built a very powerful PC (i9, 2080ti, 32GB RAM, etc.), and I wanted a laptop to work remotely from home within a budget of 200 euros. So, I bought a Lenovo Ideapad 320 with an i3, 8GB RAM, and 1TB HDD, which was so slow that I could go and have a meal while waiting for it to boot up on Windows 10. Therefore, I decided to get a cheap SSD. I chose this Gigabyte 240GB SSD because, according to the reviews, it seemed like a very good disk, and it truly is. I can highly recommend it without hesitation; Windows opens in 10-25 seconds compared to 60 with the old disk, Word opens in 5 seconds compared to 30+, and overall, the laptop flies with the combination of the 8GB RAM

Very bad, I have to say it was not worth the money after 1 year it started performing like a regular disk, despite frequent crashes both at startup and shutdown until I got rid of it and switched to nvme!

For its price and category, it has decent performance comparable to the competition, but more endurance as shown by the TBW. This particular one was installed in an old i5 2nd gen motherboard which, besides being relatively old, was also a gigabyte brand.

Apart from the fact that it has a uniformity in plexiglass, it also has good specs. If I found something with better specs at a better or the same price, the gigabyte ssd would obviously be left behind.

For everyday use in conjunction with a 1 TB wc and as an OS disk, I think it's fine. If you want something bigger with better performance and maybe a little more space, you will have to dig deep into your pocket.

On a 20€ budget, it is the newest on the market, produced in Q3 2018, it has the reliability of Gigabyte and it is also the fastest SSD according to crustaldiskmark and userbenchmark. It is faster than all its competitors: Kingston, PNY, Sandisk, Corsair, Cougar, Verbatim, Adata, Crucial.

The Laptop has an i3, Windows 10, and 8GB DDR3 for office and web surfing use.

It really took it to the next level.
Everything runs with incredible responsiveness.
And it also boots in 5 seconds.
Literally.

So far so good. Very economical and time will tell about its durability! Quite fast, I can definitely say not as much as other more expensive models and other brands!

The crystaldiskmark provides read and write speeds of over 500MB/s, which are the best speeds for this price.
There is a noticeable difference in system response since I had the software on an HDD before, with a boot time of about 10 seconds.
Actual storage space is 220GB.

3 ssd in different pcs and all three broke after 6 months at different times. I am starting the process of replacing them in order to figure out what's going on

I have had it for a month and it has not disappointed me at all, it is great for its price, I can't understand the exaggerated negative comments..

Its speed is satisfactory, obviously not comparable to Samsung Evo but its speed is great for an SSD, quite good value for money.

It was purchased on sale from a department store to upgrade the desktop computer. The machine took a long time to open with Windows 10, but now it opens in about 20-30 seconds. A significant and expected difference. It has a 3-year warranty from the store, I hope it lasts for many more years.
Due to the age of the machine, it operates with SATA 2, so it loses speed, although it is not noticeable. Everything is faster, even internet pages load in half the time due to faster data storage.

2 were purchased to upgrade a 10-year-old laptop and a 6-year-old desktop. Both were connected without any issues, as a fresh install of Windows 10 was performed. For this price, and to simply have Windows on the SSD and a lightweight program, it is a very good choice.

Revive my computer. I had a 5400rpm HDD (average HDD), and with this specific SSD, my PC improved significantly. It used to take around 30-40 seconds to open, now it's 12-15... It loads everything quickly! It's worth it.

This specific SSD was purchased to replace the disk in an eight-year-old laptop. Without any other upgrades, the laptop was "revived". I suppose that in a more modern machine that has SATA 3 and can take advantage of its full speed, it will perform even better. It was purchased for 19.90, so the value for money is excellent, especially for someone who wants it for an upgrade while keeping the cost low.
