A guide for those who wish to avoid the mistakes that cause misunderstandings and worsen the relations between the two nations. (This guide can also be used conversely to increase tensions, to satisfy aggressive characters, such as Greek and Turkish nationalists).
This "guide" was originally written in English with the intention of being published in a third country, simply because every Greek or Turkish edition is usually perceived as one-sided by the "other" side. Ultimately, an alternative solution was chosen: it is published in Greece in both Greek and English, and simultaneously in Turkey in Turkish.
In case of doubts or disagreements, the English text prevails; the others are translations. The opinions presented here are solely my own and do not bind any individual, organization, or any other body. That is to say, there is no question of conspiracy. By the way, I would also like to state, being fully aware of the consequences of this statement, that although I do not know why, I like basturma as well as souvlaki!
