On a wintry night, the strangest, cutest, most incredible little creature in the world seeks refuge in Joy's room. Joy saves it from its deadly enemy, and the little creature decides to stay by her side forever.

Thus, Joy meets Gundoont and Gundoont meets Joy. This is how their wonderful, secret adventures begin, in meadows with four-leaf clovers, in lighthouses with blue seagulls, in forests with enchanted primroses, on mountains of cinnamon, and in seaside caves...

While three pirate dwarfs cook beans with moon paste and distribute glass stones under the bed, Joy and Gundoont travel with the flying colander to the land of Yawning, to the land of April Fool's Day, to the forest of lollipops, and even further.
