The Samsung SM883 is a 240GB SSD hard drive. Its 2.5"" size makes it ideal for replacing and upgrading hard drives in laptops, as well as a choice for desktops. It supports the SATA III communication protocol, offering fast speeds and is compatible with the vast majority of motherboards.

For installation in a desktop computer, a SATA III data cable and an available SATA port on the motherboard are required, as well as a power supply cable for the SATA device from the power supply. For installation in a laptop, the SSD simply plugs into the SATA slot.
