Stay away! The worst thing I have ever tried. I would even describe it as dangerous. I tried it three times to make sure that the symptoms I had were definitely due to this product. Shortly after taking it, I didn't feel well, my stomach hurt a lot, I was sweating, and the last time I took it, I vomited. Generally, I have a strong stomach and I never remember having such a problem with other vitamins or medications. I have tried the equivalent from Solgar without any problem. It was a mistake to experiment with this.

I went from 50mg to 100mg of Swanson and it's like taking Zoloft... very strong.
It requires caution, never on an empty stomach or during the day.

I am not sure about its effectiveness after two months of use.
Maybe after a while, you will feel a difference.

It saved me. Every morning I take one of the 100 and I am calm, composed, nothing "touches" me. Without it, it becomes a party of nerves and tension. And sleep at night is simply enjoyable. It is the third time I bought them

I can't say I was thrilled. I didn't understand anything from all they generally say about 5htp. I took a risk with Swanson. I will purchase again from Solgar to see if I understand anything from there.

UPDATE: I saw a difference in another 5htp brand, so I wouldn't say that Swanson's quality impressed me, at least it didn't work for me.

It lowered my blood pressure and the three times I took it, along with dizziness and borderline fainting tendency.
It's better not to risk it
