The ten theological essays in this Volume, published in recent years in various journals and commemorative editions or even unpublished, offer the dear reader the author's testimony on various topics that concern the theological thought of our time.

They attempt to articulate a theological discourse in response to specific challenges, with the well-known (by now) effort of their author to combine "theory" with practicality. This has always been the purpose of (Orthodox) theology: to address the immediate problems of life, providing Christ, that is, real truth, for human inquiries.
