By saying "Uniatism", we mean a religious-political scheme invented by the Papacy for the westernization of the non-Latin East, that is, its spiritual-political submission to the authority of the Pope.

It is therefore linked to the expansionist policies of the Papacy, the most consistent expression of European feudalism, which continues to this day with the Vatican State.
