With this work at hand, brethren, let us be guided by our anointed fathers towards the worship, the glorification, the remembrance, and the embrace of the sacred passions of our "friend" that shine brightly during these days.

That is, our betrayal, the washing of our feet, the slaps, the insults, the mockery, the purple robe, the reed… and above all, the Cross and the death that He willingly accepted for us.

Let us descend together with them into Hades, from where Christ has called our race to Eternal Life. And as we all emerge, including ourselves from our personal tombs, shining, gleaming, radiant, photogenic children of the church, shouting "Christ is Risen from the dead...", let us embrace our joy that the Lord is near.
