Description

Description

At eight in the evening, at the café of the Katsaros brothers, where 150 - 180 patrons were present, including members of the Interparty Committee of EAM, the gangsters approached from the western side and from a distance of 10 meters opened fire with multiple automatic weapons, firing over 100 bullets and grenades.

Victims: two dead! Georgios Katsaros and agronomist Lafazanos (brother of the heroic fighter Maria Lafazanu, who was later executed by decision of the military court of Chalkida). The two deceased were not among the "released prisoners" nor were they accused of any wrongdoing.

A small police force, which arrived later, was limited to guarding the empty room with the two corpses.
