The Greek cuisine, more than any other cuisine, has been shaped and molded by the customs and traditions of the Greek people, with Greek heritage. It is characteristic of the Greek to celebrate their joys, to sweeten their sorrows, and to ease their labors by eating and drinking with relatives and friends.
Thus, every event in Greek life and tradition is inextricably linked to the Greek table. In this fifth volume of my book series, I have attempted to present all the traditional Greek recipes along with some elements of Greek tradition that I learned and preserved from my grandmother and my mother, and which I believe I will pass down to my grandchildren and future generations.
