Description

Description

With PCI-Express 4.0x4 connection and full coverage copper heatsink.

Cooling

Compared to a plated M.2 heat sink, the new efficient copper heat sinks with 27 fins add more surface area that improves heat transfer from heat sources to achieve thermal balance faster. Additionally, the optimized fin design makes for excellent heat exchange with any airflow direction. Both unique designs ensure that the key components of the PCIe 4.0 SSD maintain the appropriate operating temperature under extremely high transfer rates.

SSD Tool Box

The recently updated software provides users with an overview of the SSD status and various aspects such as the model name, FW version, health status, and sensor temperature. Additionally, users can erase all data with the Secure Erase function.

In 1 year and 10 months as the primary system drive (Gigabyte B550, AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32GB Ram) and while I was simply on Windows, I get a blue screen. The PC restarts but keeps going into the BIOS. I see inside the BIOS that it is not recognized at all. I take it out and put it in an external enclosure and connect it to my wife's laptop. In Windows manage, it tells me it needs Initialization. I start Initialization but after a while, I get "The drive cannot find the sector requested." I open MiniTool Partition Wizard. It takes a long time to read the drives. It shows it to me but with Bad Disk. The drive is done. Just like that, it died. Let's see now if I can sort things out with the warranties. I bought it for €194.

Yesterday I received it, yesterday I installed it and my system is flying, combined with the Aorus Gigabyte Ultra Gaming motherboard, I couldn't imagine such speeds on my computer, it's worth every euro.

Strong appearance of Gygabite and in ssd now. Really reliable purchase, very fast, beautiful design, and the cooler is useful. The only thing I have to say is that its space is not 1tb as it says but 930 gb, at least for me. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong.

  • After 5 years of ownership, a few days after the warranty expired, the drive died. For its price, unacceptable.. Known issue but I didn't expect it to happen to me.. Stay away!

After 5 years of ownership, the drive died on a beautiful morning. Unacceptable for its price. I had bought it in 2020 for 220 euros.

He is very good and reliable, better than the Samsung 970 evo, and worth the clear price of €190
