Lining / Shaved

It is designed so that the exterior has a lining (jersey, polyester, lycra, etc.) while internally the neoprene has no lining and is in the form of shaved, which means cut in a horizontal section with open bubbles.

Specifically, it is internally made of Sheiko Fast dry high density Nylon-Open Cell neoprene in an anatomical pattern. Externally, it has a super-elastic 100% Impermeaflex nylon lining for quick drying.

It is worn using shampoo or special lubricant, it is stitched only on the outside, and it offers great comfort and thermal insulation.


The "new" Neoprene fabric

Neoprene is a lightweight, elastic, yet quite durable mesh. Its structure resembles a honeycomb due to microscopic air bubbles found within small elastic cells, making it hydrophilic and resistant to wear. 

It offers the following advantages:

  • Completely waterproof
  • Maintains its physical and technical properties over a wide temperature range (-60 to +90 °C)
  • Keeps the human body warm
  • Maintains its integrity under the influence of salt solutions
  • Flexible and soft, not restricting movement at all

With Integrated Hood

  • Provides additional insulation and warmth for the head and neck, areas that are particularly sensitive to low temperatures
  • Prevents water from coming into direct contact with the scalp, ears, and face, thus helping to minimize the risk of hypothermia
  • Helps keep hair away from your face, especially important for divers
  • Offers sun protection. Exposure to ultraviolet rays can be harmful, as the reflective nature of water can intensify the effects of the sun
  • Improves hydrodynamics by reducing water resistance

No Zipper

It does not have a zipper and has the following features:

  • Superior sealing and hydrodynamic properties
  • Greater freedom of movement, especially in the shoulder and back areas
  • Tight and secure fit
  • More effort required when putting on or taking off compared to traditional wetsuits with zippers

With chest panel

Placed at the height of the sternum of the suit, made of reinforced rubber to prevent the slings from slipping during arming.

The arming chest pad also has an internal neoprene patch.

See how it tore on the chest, supposed to be reinforced neoprene, when I went to load my speargun..
It should be noted that the wetsuit is thoroughly washed after each dive and has never retained any saltiness! I have had it for about a year and it has barely been used for 20 to 30 fishing trips
