Lining / Shaved

It is designed with an outer lining (jersey, polyester, lycra, etc.) while the neoprene on the inside is unlined and in the form of shaved, meaning cut in a horizontal section with open bubbles.

Specifically, it is internally made of Sheiko Fast dry high density Nylon-Open Cell neoprene on an anatomical pattern. Externally, it has a highly elastic lining of 100% Impermeaflex nylon for quick drying.

It is worn with the use of shampoo or special lubricant, it is stitched only on the outside and provides great comfort and thermal insulation.


The "new" fabric Neoprene

Neoprene is lightweight, elastic, but at the same time quite durable mesh. Its structure resembles a honeycomb due to microscopic air bubbles inside small elastic cells, which makes it hydrophilic and resistant to wear. 

It has the following advantages:

  • Completely waterproof
  • Maintains its natural and technical properties over a wide range of temperatures (-60 to +90 °C)
  • Keeps the human body warm
  • Maintains its integrity under the influence of salt solutions
  • Flexible and soft, which does not restrict movement at all

With Integrated Hood

  • Provides additional insulation and warmth for the head and neck, areas that are particularly sensitive to low temperatures
  • Prevents water from coming into direct contact with the scalp, ears, and face, thus helping minimize the risk of hypothermia
  • Helps keep hair away from your face, especially important for divers
  • Offers sun protection. Exposure to ultraviolet rays can be harmful, as the reflective nature of water can intensify the effects of the sun
  • Improves hydrodynamics by reducing water resistance

Zipless

It does not have a zipper and it has the following characteristics:

  • Superior waterproofing and hydrodynamics
  • Greater freedom of movement, especially in the shoulder and back areas
  • Tight and secure fit
  • More effort required for putting on or taking off compared to traditional zippered suits

With chest zip

Placed at the height of the chest of the suit, made of reinforced rubber to prevent the slippage of the gun barrels during loading.

It also has an internal neoprene pad on the chest plate.

See how it tore on the chest, supposed to be reinforced neoprene, when I went to load my speargun..
It should be noted that the wetsuit is thoroughly washed after each dive and has never retained any saltiness! I have had it for about a year and it has barely been used for 20 to 30 fishing trips

    If you want to use it for autonomous diving....stay away. I bought this 7mm wetsuit for winter (professional diver) and I have frozen. Additionally, it has annoying positive buoyancy. Very bad purchase.
