If you're trying to Google whether the sound is better than the integrated sound card of your Rog motherboard (e.g. from Supreme FX to z270/390 with S1220codec/ ES9023P dac/ RC4850amp), you will read different opinions. However, the difference is clear (and chaotic compared to any Laptop Win or iOS or older mobo).
If you simply play games or listen to some mp3s with Razer headphones or computer speakers, you don't need to spend money on the Dragonfly, the difference it will give you is likely not worth it (prefer soundblaster Z/AE-5/G6).
If you have a home cinema set up with optical out or HDMI to the amplifier from the PC, you also don't need something like that in a DAC.
But if you have ever listened to a hi-fi system, have used headphones with a 3.5/6.5mm jack amplifier from Yamaha/Denon, happen to have a good set of OverEar headphones with a collection of flac files or a premium subscription to Spotify/Tidal, AND you are willing to spend the 200€ that it asks for, DO NOT THINK TWICE...
Music with headphones compared to integrated sound card or any laptop comes alive! The stereo stage opens in height and width, incredibly low in volume but with control, high where it doesn't tire, with whatever instruments, samples, loops you put in, the sound doesn't "muddy", you will hear parts in songs that you know but had never noticed before. You will want to listen again to everything you have in your collection. In other words, it delivers the advertised audiophile sound.
With V-Moda Crossfade LP2 at 32ohm and volume max 30-40% (after that, the volume becomes dangerous) in EDM, House, Trance, Metal, Rock, the opinion for all the above... and the DF Red. And a little dose of exaggeration - EVERYTHING IS SUBJECTIVE IN SOUND...
The jitterbug, although initially doesn't seem necessary..., in the end, it might offer better resolution!
In USB 3.0, the Dragonfly sounds better than in USB 2.0 (and yes, it's not a placebo effect). The jitterbug downgrades to USB 2.0, but with the Dragonfly on top of the jitterbug and in a USB 3.0 port, it has the best result. (The USB controller also matters in the result, it's not the same in all machines, tested!).
In a Samsung Galaxy with an OTG cable, the battery drains relatively quickly and although the sound is better than the S9, it may not be as good as in a PC or laptop.
If you want something portable, it's the way to go... plug and play hifi!
(It doesn't need drivers, you plug the 3.5mm jack from the headphones into it and connect it to a USB port on any machine you want...).

Αν προσπαθείς να googlαρεις κατα πόσο είναι καλύτερος ο ηχος απο την ενσωματωμένη soundcard του Rog mobo σου (πχ απο Supreme FX σε z270/390 με S1220codec/ ES9023P dac/ RC4850amp), θα διαβάσεις διάφορα. Η διαφορά όμως είναι ξεκάθαρη (και χαοτική σε σχέση με οποιοδήποτε Laptop Win ή iOS ή παλιότερη mobo).
Αν απλά παίζεις παιχνίδια ή ακούς και κάνα mp3 με IE ακουστικά της Razer ή ηχεία υπολογιστή δεν χρειάζεται να δώσεις λεφτά για το dragonfly, το πιθανότερο είναι να μην αξίζει η διαφορά που θα σου δωσει (προτίμησε soundblaster Z/AE-5/G6).
Αν έχεις στημένο home cinema με optical out ή hdmi στον ενισχυτή απο το pc πάλι δεν χρειάζεσαι κάτι τέτοιο σε dac...
Αν όμως, έχεις έστω κάποτε ακούσει hi-fi σύστημα, έχεις βάλει ακουστικά σε 3.5/6.5mm jack ενισχυτή Yamaha/Denon, τυχαίνει να έχεις και κάνα καλό σετάκι OverEar ακουστικά με συλλογή απο flac ή premium συνδρομή σε spotify/tidal, ΚΑΙ έχεις να δώσεις και τα 200€ που ζητάει ΜΗΝ ΤΟ ΣΚΈΦΤΕΣΑΙ....
Η μουσική με ακουστικά σε σχέση με ενσωματωμένη κάρτα ήχου ή οποιοδήποτε laptop, ζωντανεύει! Το stereo stage ανοίγει σε ύψος κ πλάτος, χαμηλά απίστευτα σε όγκο αλλά κ έλεγχο, ψηλά που δεν κουράζουν, με όσα όργανα, samples, loops και να μπουν ο ήχος δεν "μπουκώνει", θα ακούσεις μέρη σε κομμάτια που ξέρεις αλλα δεν τα είχες παρατηρήσει ποτέ. Θα θες να ακούσεις ξανά ότι έχεις στη συλλογή σου. Με άλλα λόγια δίνει τον audiophile ήχο που διαφημίζει.

Το jitterbug ενω αρχικά δεν μοιάζει να είναι απαραίτητο..., τελικά ίσως προσφέρει καλύτερη ανάλυση!
Σε USB 3.0 το Dragonfly ακούγεται καλύτερα απ'οτι σε USB 2.0 (και ναι δεν ειναι placebo effect). Το jitterbug κάνει downgrade σε usb2.0, αλλά σε σειρά το dragonfly πανω στο jitterbug και σε usb3.0 θήρα έχει το καλύτερο αποτέλεσμα. (σημασία έχει και ο usb controller στο αποτέλεσμα, δεν είναι σε όλα τα μηχανήματα το ίδιο, δοκιμασμένα!).
Σε samsung galaxy με otg καλώδιο, η μπαταρία πέφτει σχετικά γρήγορα και ο ήχος αν και καλύτερος απο του s9, δεν είναι ίσως το ίδιο καλός όπως σε pc ή laptop.
Αν θες κάτι φορητό είναι μονόδρομος...plug n play hifi!
(Δεν θέλει drivers, κουμπώνεις πάνω του το 3.5mm jack απο τα ακουστικά και το βάζεις σε usb θήρα σε ότι μηχάνημά θες...)
