Without a doubt, "The Prince" is Machiavelli's most revolutionary work and remains an organic piece written with passion: In it, the author rejects traditional political systems and turns to the individual and their virtues. The aim is new hegemony, the study of a new experience for a society in crisis.

Machiavelli is impressed by these new hegemonies that were created by force and is additionally fascinated by the leaders of the armies. Beyond this, he reflects on the creation of the great Western monarchies (Spain, France, Germany), which are ruled by an absolute Prince.
