  • It was purchased 2-3 years ago for 70 at that time, now for that money you can get something much better than this.
In terms of read and write speed, it is faster than an SSD.
I have installed Windows 10 and some other programs on it and it performs flawlessly in terms of speed.

I bought it because of its price, which is a reliable brand and a very good price.... I bought it to have a faster boot in Windows than the Samsung SSD I had... The difference is minimal, they both do the same thing at the same time... The software that comes with it is better than the Samsung software for the SSD... It's worth the money to have a terabyte... But if you expect faster speeds for Windows boot from an SSD... don't buy it... Time will tell how reliable it is and I will come back

It does what it promises (read:2150-write:2000 on dell Inspiron 5570), disk cloning didn't work, so I did a clean installation with boot from usb and restore from backup (AOMEI) and everything went quickly, without any problems. It works fast so far in boot and multitasking, loads games quickly with zero loading times. There is a difference compared to the SATA III SSD I had, as it works about 4-5 times faster in read and 10-11 times faster in write. Its reliability will be evident in the future, but for its price, it is just what it should be.

Because I didn't have a second slot on my motherboard for an M.2 NVMe SSD, I first connected it to a PCIe x16 adapter (Powertech Converter M.2 Key M NVMe to PCIe x16), and then installed it in the PCIe x16 slot on the motherboard.

It worked flawlessly and in crystal disk mark it gave 1600 read / 1500 write on my system with gigabyte aorus b450m, Ryzen 2600x and ddr4 3000Mhz.

With a price around 50 euros for a 500GB NVMe drive, reliability from a well-known company like Kingston, and a 5-year warranty, it deserves 5 stars.
Searching on Skroutz for an NVMe M.2 SSD drive, I couldn't find another one like this with about 150 positive reviews (except for the Samsung one which is much more expensive), so I would describe it as value for money, and a hot-selling product.

Perfect storage disk, fast installation of Windows in just 10 minutes, which used to take over half an hour on an old mechanical disk. Worth every euro I spent. Installation of games of 18-20 gigabytes in 5 minutes (mechanical disk took 1 hour and more).

Top in price and value storage medium. It is exactly what you need if you have a SATA III SSD (to have your operating system there) and to throw your games in there (in this SSD) in order to have completely low lag in terms of graphics and internet connection. Believe me, the disk's writing speed is dependent on the download speed of your home internet, it will give you minimal lags in these aspects. Which is important for those who play online and experience lag.

I bought it for 53 euros (500 GB) with a 5-year warranty (!). The purchase was made after the recommendation of the technician who has been handling my PCs for 15 years now. He insisted and in the end, he was right.

Unbelievable value for money M.2 NVMe, the speed is incomparable to a traditional SATA III SSD. The difference is night and day, just like when I switched from HDD to a regular 2.5 SSD.

Apart from the speed at which Windows boots, the difference in game installation is enormous. It was during game installations that I practically noticed the real difference in speed, for example, Forza Horizon 4 went from taking 1 hour and 20 minutes on a regular SSD to just 40 minutes (!) with the M.2 NVMe.

For now, it is completely reliable and I highly recommend it without hesitation.

It does what it says, it is a reliable nvme m.2 with high speeds and that's why it stands out from a regular ssd. The truth is that while it does open windows faster, I wouldn't recommend it for basic office work since the same job can be done well with an ssd. For any demanding game or programs like Sony Vegas or Photoshop, that's where you will notice the differences compared to an ssd or even more so compared to a regular hdd, that's where you will see differences in times. I recommend it for anyone who wants an nvme and can't afford the price of a Samsung, which is definitely top-notch, definitely worth taking a look at!

We recently built a PC for my son and the loading times were incredible, so I was tempted and bought another one to replace the SSD in my laptop.
The difference in speed compared to the SSD is noticeable, which I did not expect, and that's the truth. If it proves to be reliable over time, then it's worth its money.

I return to change my rating and give it 1 star instead of 4.
The disk was purchased 6 months ago. I had it as the main disk in my system (dual boot Windows / Linux). It was never a disk that was under pressure or had a lot of read/write operations.
After 6 months, it suddenly stopped working. The temperature inside the case was 38 degrees and the computer is in an air-conditioned office. I initially chose it because of the brand, thinking it would have greater reliability. Unfortunately, I lost everything. I bought a Samsung EVO to do my work and this one is going back.

Although it is not as fast as the Samsung, I believe it is one of the best NVMe on the market. You pay for what you get. It is ideal for upgrading from a 2.5 or for someone who is building their computer now and wants a decent speed (better than a 2.5 but slightly worse than a more high-end M.2) without taking away money from their basic computer. With this mindset, I bought it and compared to a friend's 2.5 Samsung SSD, the difference in opening times, etc. is amazing. So I highly recommend it without hesitation!

Previous setup i5 7400 + sata 3 ssd of the same company. With 3600x and this one the difference is too noticeable. To build an eclipse project it took me 35-40 seconds and now it takes 9-11. Generally, there are noticeable differences in games as well. However, I have only had it for a few days and I cannot give a full opinion, but at first glance, it is a beast

Although the evaluation of another user is quite detailed. What I can say is that the disk is the best for this price. I bought the 500GB for €60. It has a stable temperature at 40 degrees Celsius. I added an AKASA cooler for €6.50 and it dropped to 37.
As for the loading of Windows, I noticed a four-second difference compared to my old 256 Mudskin SSD. In games, the difference in loading is 2 seconds less.
Also, you save the cable because the disk is screwed onto the motherboard.
It fit perfectly on the MSI B450 A-PRO MAX without any problem. The Kingston software feels like it came out of Windows 95.

I cannot compare it to expensive Nvme SSDs or the new gen4 ones. However, compared to a Samsung 840 Pro SSD, which I have been using as my primary hard drive for the operating system until now... There is simply no comparison. Noticeably faster. Loading screens in games have been eliminated.

Satisfied user, good benchmarks when I got it (it hasn't made me need to deal with it again) and I haven't had any problems so far even though I've been using it over 90% full lately.

The best choice is the M2 at 500 GB based on speed-price. I have used it in 4 different builds.

Used purely for gaming. Loading times have been reduced, my disk seems quite fast. If you want something more powerful, go for Samsung Nano

  • It was purchased 2-3 years ago for 70 at that time, now for that money you can get something much better than this.
In terms of read and write speed, it is faster than an SSD.
I have installed Windows 10 and some other programs on it and it performs flawlessly in terms of speed.

  • I bought it because of its price, which is a reliable brand and a very good price....

  • It does what it promises (read:2150-write:2000 on dell Inspiron 5570), disk cloning didn't work, so I did a clean installation with boot from usb and restore from backup (AOMEI) and everything went quickly, without any problems. It works fast so far in boot and multitasking, loads games quickly with zero loading times. There is a difference compared to the SATA III SSD I had, as it works about 4-5 times faster in read and 10-11 times faster in write. Its reliability will be evident in the future, but for its price, it is just what it should be.
