This review is about the colour: Black

It is not worth the 300 euros I paid for it.

Firstly, it came with insulation that had come off, or rather the Chinese literally glued it back on, and with fabric as thin as cigarette paper. No comparison to the equivalent one I have from Fractal Design.

Secondly, it is unacceptable that everything is not removable from the inside, especially the rack for the hard drives to make room for the fans and a larger cooler. And the latest version of this case does exactly that. They had attached the bottom base for the hard drives with clips and I had to drill two holes to secure something that could have been easily supported with 8 screws, like in other cases that are even cheaper.

Thirdly, it is not up to SSI-EEB specifications even though it has the size for it, because once again the Chinese who make it for the Germans do not follow international standards, and there was a missing hole in the motherboard base that I had to open in order for the motherboard to fit properly and not move. As a result, the case was filled with metal shavings that I had to clean very carefully and with air pressure to make sure none of them came into contact with the circuit boards and caused a short circuit. Fortunately, I managed to make it work with these few modifications and some black spray for the imperfections.

Fourthly, for such a huge case, it did not include WHEELS in the package. However, it did have power cable extensions, which I found useful. Do not even think about having it without wheels. It is unmanageable. Another strange thing is that the base for the power supply has 3 rubber pads for vibrations instead of 4, so it sits unevenly. Also, at this price, it should have been made of aluminum.

All of these issues could have been avoided if those who designed it and those who should have checked its construction knew how to do their job properly and think with common sense, which apparently is not so common.

As for its use, as a server case, it has a huge space for everything, very high-quality grommets for the cables, a splitter for the fans (which I never use), and especially for what interests me, a removable drive caddy on the top with an additional slot for a DVD, along with doors with filters. On top, there is a flap that can be opened or closed for ventilation or silent operation, as well as a door for connections that, however, do not include USB-C. Fortunately, I have adapters.

Overall, it is a case that could have been excellent if NANOXIA had paid attention to these details, which the competition has already solved.
