The Department of Primary Education, in collaboration with the "Alexandros Delmouzos" Teaching Institute, organized a workshop titled "Pedagogical Utilization of New Media in Teaching". The papers and presentations included in this volume, published due to the financial support of the Teaching Institute of the Department of Primary Education "Alexandros Delmouzos" of the University of the Aegean, cannot, of course, cover the multitude of issues related to various dimensions of the pedagogical utilization of new Media and Technologies.

The articles in this volume are categorized into four sections of cognitive interest related to: a) theoretical approaches that are formed in the pedagogical dialogue "New Media and Pedagogical Issues", b) the utilization of tertiary media "classical Media (cinema, television, and video) in Education", c) the contribution of Special Teaching "Teaching proposals for the utilization of New Media in teaching" and d) research papers that refer to current issues and application topics that are intensely discussed in the pedagogical dialogue and will surely represent a field for even more systematic research in the future "New Media, New Perspectives".

This volume is aimed at students of pedagogical departments and postgraduate programs, educators in preschool education, and primary and secondary education (in-service training and retraining), as well as multipliers from the field of Media Pedagogy.
