Surely Dorothy, a teacher at a school, would be terribly envious of Blanche's downfall, Alma's despair, Del Lago's resurrection, and Amanda's extravagance: generally, Dorothy would wish for something to happen to her, even if dreadful, which, however, does not occur.
Counter to her, there is Body, who has accepted her miserable life and seems to find joy in the slightest things. If only there were drunken prostitutes, aggressive drug addicts, uniquely eccentric young lovers, and other symbols of American realistic theater on the path of Dorothy and Body. But here, nothing!
Only a lack of communication and boredom in an atmosphere reminiscent of an aquarium, where everything moves silently and discreetly.
