About women's B. Continuation of the reference to gynecological diseases. The medications for these ailments.
Hippocrates was born on the island of Kos in 460 BC. According to tradition, his ancestry traced back to Asclepius and Hercules. His ancestors were kings, lords, and priest-physicians.
He practiced medicine initially in his hometown and then traveled to many places. He died in Thessaly in old age, around 90 years old.
Hippocrates marks a turning point in the history of Medicine. With him begins the era of scientific Medicine, as the term science is understood today. He combines the two sources of knowledge (sensation and intellect), utilizes experience and reason, and tailors his treatment to the specific patient, whom he views as a psychosomatic whole.
His teaching and work are distinguished by their ethical character, the brilliance of their concepts, and the scientific ingenuity in medical practice. The pure scientific nature of his work is completely confirmed by modern Medicine.
