It is a fact that today we witness many incidents that reveal, within the framework of the social space, an "asceticism" with a schizophrenic guise or a schizophrenia with an "ascetic" facade. It is even possible that our participation in the dialogue between asceticism and schizophrenia may be a reality that we are unaware of! If our self-awareness is very poor, the chances of us already being involved in this dialogue process exceed the limits of suspicion! That is why it is useful for us to have an awareness of the general outline of the development of the dialogue between asceticism and schizophrenia. (...)
