One day, three absent-minded astronauts are forced to leave suddenly, forgetting a shovel on Mars. However, the Martians have never seen anything like it in their lives. They don't know what it is, what it's called, or what the strange and enigmatic object is used for. What should they do with it? Lick it? Worship it? Or maybe tickle it? 

Days go by and the Martians continue to wonder, to be puzzled, to argue, and to be amazed. Until one morning, a Martian has a brilliant idea. What is this brilliant idea? How will the Martians use this famous shovel on their distant planet?
