With the editing of the two authors who co-wrote the first monograph on ADHD in our country twelve years ago, seventeen specialists from the fields of psychology, child psychiatry, and child neurology, who possess significant research and clinical experience on issues related to this disorder, collaborated to write this collective volume.

Through the fourteen chapters of this book, the most important theoretical and practical approaches to ADHD are presented, concerning issues that intensely concern both specialists and parents and educators of children with this disorder. Some of these chapters deal with the nature of the disorder, its etiology, and its diagnosis.

However, particular emphasis is placed on the extensive presentation of the most modern therapeutic intervention programs for ADHD.
