This text is an extended version of my speech given during the events at the Athens Megaron Music Hall (Megaron-Plus). The event took place on February 16, 2012.

Through this speech, the aim is to achieve a more systematic understanding of modern Greek spiritual culture through the lens of its symbolic significance in time. The goal is to better illuminate some of the foundational difficulties of our productive coexistence with today's European and global cultural environment, the paroxysmal manifestation of which we are painfully experiencing during the current crisis.
