The Akan radiator from Metallourgia Attikis delivers 2640 kcal/h and transfers heat 60% by conduction and 40% by radiation. Its four-column construction is 505 mm high and has an electrostatic finish, oven-cured at 200°C.

The radiator holds a standard amount of water to regulate the room and central heating temperature. It has four ½¨ threaded openings, and the mounting kit can be positioned to suit the space. It comes with a ½¨ sealing plug and a ½¨ air vent valve made of chrome-plated brass.

    Good construction with poor paint quality. Although visually properly packaged, upon opening it was found that at both ends it was dented with the paint having peeled off. I proceeded with the installation since there was no leakage, because I would have to schedule a new appointment with the technician. I am sorry that the quality control of this Greek company is lacking. It will not be preferred for the next replacement.

    Average construction with very poor paint quality - it peels off at the slightest touch. I knew this from previous purchases, but unfortunately there is no panel that fits the space with equivalent heating capacity. The previous one was somewhat better and lasted a little less than 20 years.

    I installed panels of the same thermal performance theoretically, but in practice I went back to the old ones, simply no comparison, only the difference in height which I had to pay for again bothered me. I painted the old ones with special radiator paint and they keep going.
