Law of the Public Limited Company

The "Law of the Public Limited Company" constitutes the first article-by-article interpretation of Law 4548/2018, which replaced in about a century the Company Law 2190/1920.

This is a two-volume work: the 1st volume includes interpretation of articles 1-85 and the 2nd volume the interpretation of the remaining articles, 86-190, of Law 4548/2018. Each article, besides its interpretative text, is accompanied by an excerpt from the explanatory report and specific bibliography, while under article 12, issues of publicity for branches of foreign companies are included as an Appendix.

The interpretation is oriented towards the practical needs of the practitioner, without neglecting, however, the theoretical depth to the extent necessary to highlight the purpose of the provisions and the correctness of the proposed solutions.

The aim of the work is to provide the scientific community and anyone involved with public limited companies (lawyers, judges, accountants, business consultants, etc.) with a systematic and in-depth interpretation of the law of PLCs.
