The study of a specific trade union organization, such as in our case the Trade Union of Salespeople - Drivers and Assistants of Bottled Beverages in Northern Greece, is obliged to pose and answer questions related both to the particular elements of this organization (statute, history, activities, general ideological principles, etc.) as well as to the relationship of this organization with the broader social and trade union environment (relationship with political parties, type of trade union action).

Thus, this is a work that is based on two different axes, the specific and the general. We hope that this type of work will allow us to focus on our research field while avoiding a large number of traps that could lead us to incorrect analyses.

Moreover, the dual axis will allow us to undertake comparative approaches, essential for a better understanding of complex social phenomena, such as trade union organization and action.
