To the sounds of the drums of war from 1912-1913, two beautiful young people, Pavlos and Elli, unite in the simplicity of their first kiss and are led to a frivolous marriage.
People raised in different, mismatched families seem to finally understand that life is full of battles.
For the idealistic Elli, the greatest battle occurs within her, when she learns that her husband does not wish to belong to the brave men of war, to the soldiers she has always admired for their masculinity.
And the kisses begin to turn cold, foreboding a war between the two, just like the one among many.
