The child's interest was maintained until the last two pages, where they persistently wanted to stop the fairy tale and not hear the rest. Not at all random, as these two pages convey the following very dangerous message: "The more someone defends themselves against the attacker, the more they anger him. So, behave kindly towards the bully who attacks you and he will change and become good, as if by magic." Now think about how many women endure their violent partners simply because they believe that resisting and seeking protection will only anger them more, while also enduring them in the hope of changing them. Now think about the situation where a child becomes a victim of bullying at school and has been raised with such messages (that is, that it makes no sense to defend oneself and seek protection). Not to mention more severe cases, such as child abusers. In this book, the victim is blamed and the perpetrator is exonerated. I am posting this comment as a psychiatrist specializing in psychological trauma.

Tragic book, beyond the inappropriate language for children, as someone else said here, the message it conveys is problematic. Especially in a time when abuse among children and families is very common, it teaches children that with persuasion maybe the other person won't kill you.
Τραγικό βιβλίο, πέρα από την ακατάλληλη για τα παιδιά γλώσσα, όπως είπε και κάποιος άλλος εδώ, το μήνυμα που περνάει είναι προβληματικό. Ειδικά σε μια εποχή που η κακοποίηση ανάμεσα σε παιδια και οικογένειες είναι πολύ συχνη, μαθαίνει στα παιδιά ότι με καλοπιασμα ίσως και να μη σε σκοτώσει ο άλλος.
