Among the measures taken during the last reform of general Greek education with law 309/1976 is the establishment of the institution of School Vocational Guidance (S.V.G.), whose implementation began with the introduction of a vocational information course for students in the 9th grade.

We hope that this book, as well as others that will follow in the future, will help not only the educators tasked with implementing S.V.G. in the country's middle schools but also educators in other levels who wish to include elements of vocational education in their teaching at school, as well as all those who, in any way, are involved outside of school with vocational guidance issues.
