Positives: The story's theme is very promising, with great interest and originality. The twists were strong, especially as the book was ending. At the end, read the acknowledgments as it's a bonus thriller. The style, writing, and characters are very good. The ending is something else and worth reading.

Negatives: The book was very good, but while it starts well, it drags a bit and then picks up again from chapter 50, at least in my opinion. In some parts, the characters are somewhat superhuman, and it felt like watching a more supernatural thriller in the cinema. The book was like watching a movie; it set the mood but didn't leave much food for thought, just follow along.

In summary: It didn't blow me away as a book, but I admit I liked it a lot and enjoyed reading it. I would recommend it to others, just mentioning that they might get bored somewhere before the middle, but they shouldn't give up; it's a good book and an excellent author

Another masterpiece by Fitzek... The first book I read from this author and I got hooked on him... I consider it one of his best, if not the best. Mind-blowing, descriptive, excellently structured with proper flashbacks that don't tire you out and the suspense is through the roof!

Having read "the package" first, I can say that it is equally interesting and keeps you engaged until the end. You definitely don't want to stop reading.
In fact, at times it conveys very intense and shocking to harsh images, personally I shivered at one or two points and for that alone it is worth it.
However, the ending is not as exciting as it was in "the package". Unfortunately, I compare them because they are from the same author, but of course, this is a subjective matter.
Other than that, I highly recommend it.

I have never read anything like this before, but I definitely made a good start with this book and I will look for more from the same author. At first, it made me a little anxious because I didn't want to read something too scary (I ended up taking it for relaxation after all!) but it turned out to be just right. I won't give it 5 stars because the ending personally didn't satisfy me and it reminded me of a familiar movie, but I don't want to undermine the overall experience and the flow of the plot, which was excellent without boring the reader.
