    Personally, I didn't like it at all because in the story the little elephant was essentially abused by its mother, as it was deformed after physical punishments (she pulled its trunk). So I found it sad and I'm not sure how children perceive it. In my case, they didn't like it either without telling me why, they just don't ask me to read it. From the same series, they really loved the mischievous cat, they quite like the rest of them, they are a bit afraid of the whale (although it's nice and has a nice message). I have some concerns about the message conveyed by "the colorful crows"...
    P.S. We have them all, as you understood.
