Description & Specifications

Royal Talens Extra Fine gouache is an opaque water-based paint with vivid shades and a matte finish. It is dextrin-based, which contributes to its smooth consistency and reduces surface gloss, while its high pigment concentration delivers intense colour. It dries quickly and adheres to porous surfaces.

When water is added, the paint becomes thinner and slightly more transparent. It can be used to create uniform matte areas of colour and smooth transitions. It is not waterproof when dry and can be reworked with water. It contains no heavy-metal-based pigments.
