Description

Eleni is sixteen years old, chubby, talkative, with braces on her teeth. Additionally, she is in love with Alkis, who doesn't pay her any attention. On top of all this, she has to deal with her mother's second husband, his daughter Angeliki, who has to live with them, her strict uncle, but mainly, she has to deal with herself, who is "pure rebellion" and constantly complaining about everyone and everything. How will she overcome all these difficulties and changes that disrupt her life? What role will Angeliki ultimately play and how much will she help her? How will her life find its normal rhythm again within the new family? All of this is written in her diary and divided into chapter-seasons. The last chapter is the "Season of Hyacinths." At the end of this season, Eleni discovers, along with some new truths, her new self. [Excerpt from the text on the back cover of the edition]
